"St. Ben's" and Images from London

We're back home safe and sound.

I'll save a longer post for tomorrow, somehow I am more exhausted after this short trip than all of our others combined. But here's a little tidbit for you and a contest!

There were some really fun and hilarious moments that I will describe tomorrow but I couldn't not post about another one of Johnny's misnomers. Remember how he called the Sistine Chapel the "Sixteenth Chapel"? Well in London he kept hearing us talk about "Big Ben" because it was only just out of view from our hotel room (we could see a bit of the Eye though) and of course, we saw Big Ben constantly walking around the city. It was definitely a landmark for us as it was near our hotel.

So, today we were walking back to the hotel from a bridge-who-must-not-be-named.

He was complaining a bit about the distance and said: "We can't even see St. Bens!!"*

Here are a few pictures of London's bridges to whet your appetite! The first person to name all bridges gets a small treat from Dublin.**

*Sheila went to college at "St Bens" or St. Benedict College in Minnesota.
