We're taking advantage of the cheap Ryan Air fares this weekend and heading to London to see the sites and the marathon. We will just have missed ("Maggie" as they call her here on the news) Thatcher's (quite expensive) funeral today.
Marathoners are being asked to wear a black ribbon in honor of the bombings in the Boston marathon.
It'll be a kid-friendly short weekend: Harry Potter World, They Eye, and Billy Elliot! Johnny is absolutely spent on touring so only fun stuff on the horizon for him!
Trish and Mary headed out today. The four days were fabulous. The three sisters (they missed you Kathy!!) walked so much that time seemed to lengthen. I swear they were here for a week! I don't think they missed much. Pictures are forthcoming!
