I know, I shouldn't be complaining. Minnesota weather is also miserable in January and February. We've been hearing of the bitter cold they are experiencing there.
It is just bizarre to experience a rainstorm and have it be that cold outside, and of course, have to walk everywhere. Last summer we were talking about how significant "dew point" is in determining how hot it is. Now I'm seeing how it can work in the reverse as well. The cold and wet just leaves a chill in your body that won't go away.
We brought our Bogs and some nice rain jackets, which helps enormously.
